Wedding dresses are one of the most important parts of any woman’s big day, and that is the case whether you simply want to feel like a princess for the day or actually are a princess. Well, now Megan Markle’s wedding dress will be placed on display at Windsor Castle, where she got married earlier this year in the spring.
The ivory gown that wowed crowds back in May was designed by Givenchy creative director Clare Waight Keller. Many were pleased to discover on the day that the American actress had chosen to use a British designer for her dress for the day she was due to marry Prince Harry.
The dress reportedly cost £387,000 and featured a prominent open bateau neckline plus a 16ft long silk train which was embroidered with the flowers of all 53 countries in the Commonwealth.
The stunning tiara worn by Megan Markel on the day she got married will also be on display at Windsor Castle. The tiara as loaned by the Queen and was in fact Queen Mary’s tiara. The tiara was made in two parts with the diamond bandeau made in 1932, and the brooch at its centre was created in 1893.
Of course, it wasn’t the only dress Megan Markel worse that day as she changed into a fabulous halterneck dress by Stella McCartney for the evening reception following the wedding.
