Wedding Dress Trends To Watch

Bridal fashion is always changing and there’s no doubt that a few new wedding dress trends will spring up following the nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle next month.

For now, however, the hottest trends have come off the runway at New York’s Bridal Fashion Week, with the Evening Standard highlighting the five top trends to look out for if you’re planning to tie the knot in the next year and haven’t found the perfect gown yet.

Capes are at the top of the list, with the newspaper noting that these “add drama” to a bridal outfit, as well as being practical in case the weather takes a turn for the worse.

Another thing to look out for on bridal gowns is shoulder bows, meanwhile, with a number of designers opting to include this feature in a more unusual position on their dresses this year.

Brides who want their wedding chair covers in Surrey to coordinate with their outfit should make sure that they get a sample of the shade of their dress meanwhile, particularly if they’re deviating from the traditional white and cream hues.

According to the news provider, blush is the big colour for bridal wear this season, with pale pink and nude gowns catching everyone’s eyes on the catwalk.

Of course, your wedding decor may be based around your choice of flowers, rather than your dress, and the blooms selected for the royal wedding are bound to influence decor trends around the country.

Peonies, which are reportedly Ms Markle’s favourite flowers, will make an appearance, as will foxgloves and white garden roses, Kensington Palace has revealed.
